EN Engineering Introduces Training Program for Military Personnel

(Warrenville, IL) EN Engineering proudly introduces a new training program for military personnel. Military veterans and current National Guard members have the opportunity to receive two weeks of CAD training and apply the skills they learn on the job while getting paid.

“We are thrilled to recognize our military heroes and provide this exciting employment opportunity,” stated Adam Biggam, Vice President, Distribution, who created the program. “We specifically targeted this group because they are hardworking, disciplined, and dedicated. Many of our most successful employees come from a military background,” he added.

According to Dawn Arendt, Recruiter, “Following an initial interview, selected candidates will participate in an in-depth, two-week drafting training course which will include AutoCAD applications, GIS software, pipeline design overview, and professional and business skills. Participants will also get an introduction to the company and exposure to its many business units and services.” At the end of the course, successful candidates can transition to a 90-day contract employee position with the potential to be hired as a full-time employee following the trial period.

EN Engineering provides engineering consulting, design, integrity management, corrosion protection, and automation services to pipeline companies, utilities, and industrial customers.
